Flying V’s Summer Track & Field Club

The Flying V’s Track Club is offered to provide experience in the sport of track and field in a team atmosphere.  We pride ourselves in quality instruction keeping approximately a 1/15 coach to athlete ratio.

The Flying V’s have had success at all levels of competition, from beginners to national qualifiers at USATF or AAU Nationals. We emphasize individual improvement with running times and jumping/throwing distances during the season to help to build confidence and an enjoyment for the sport of track and field.

Flying V’s Track & Field Club Records by Age Group

2022: Our last regular season meet ended with a great mixed relay 4×400. Track & field allows all kinds of fun ways to be teammates that most sports are not able to do.

Above: Max Herkert signs his letter of intent to compete in track & field at the University of Wisconsin in decathlon. Max was a member of Flying V’s for eight years and has been a coach of the program for the past two years.

Above: Two 4×100 relay records get broken on the same night. Wepking, Boado, Hauski, Zak got the 13-14 record, while Hereley, Rupnow, Kittleson, Codde got the 11-12 record!

Finn Fowler (right) breaks the 8 and under 100m record, while Carter Bauer (left) breaks the 9-10 100m record! Carter also broke the 9-10 200m record earlier in the season.
